Noble Character
A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. ~ Proverbs 31:10
When I read the verse above I am struck by the vision of my Mom. My Mom was a very caring, compassionate, and God fearing woman. Even though we didn't want her to, she always knew the truth about any situation we were involved in. My Mom loved us and because she loved us she wanted the very best for us. That included snooping in our room, checking in on us when we were not at home, asking about our home work, talking to us about our day. Even getting upset when we weren't doing the things we should be doing.
Parents do everything right. They do the best they can with the tools their parents gave them. Having said that my parents did pretty well. We as their children were supplied with the things we needed.
When I became a parent I realized what my parents were trying to do. That's when it hit me that they weren't perfect. I always thought they were perfect. It's very humbling when you realize that you will not be perfect either. Having said that, Children don't come with an instruction booklet either. That means we have to learn as we go. It also means we have to turn our lives over to God. When we live right according to the word of God, he will supply all of our needs. Now, when we give our life to God and follow his instruction, that means that the devil will pay close attention to you. Especially when you become closer to God. You may lose your job, lose your parents, and your car may break down. The one thing that you must do through all of this is to keep the faith. God knows what you are going through, look at what they did to him. He will be by your side through thick and thin. He will never, ever let you down. This I also learned from my parents, There have been many times when I should have died, but I am still here. What this means to me is that he has a purpose for me and He wanted me to stay where I am until I have completed my purpose.
Be a woman of Noble character knowing that God wants you to be that way, always. No matter what be kind just as Jesus was kind, Be loving as Jesus was loving, Be the person that God wants you to be and know that he will open doors in your life, provide for you and your family. Be a Woman of noble character Faithfully, Honestly, and with Joy!
God loves you! read it again. Let it soak in. Never forget that. He wants the very best for you. He wants a relationship with you. He wants to hear, the good, the bad and the ugly. Talk to him like you would talk to your Dad. He wants to hear from you. Tell your Daddy everything. Yes, I know he knows everything already, but he loves to hear it from you. Talk to him now.
Blessings to you all.
